Traditional Cup of Friendship Pewter Quaich
Traditionally, the "Quaich", which originated in the Scottish highlands, was used both for a "Cup of Welcome" and also when offering a farewell drink. Today it is commonly used at wedding ceremonies as well. The distinctive design has remained unchanged over the centuries - a shallow drinking bowl with two handles, known as "lugs". Cup is 3 3/4" diameter and 2" high. Handles add 1" to each side. Pewter. From the U.K. Gift Boxed. Web Exclusive!
