Though St. Patrick converted the Celts to Christianity in the 5th Century, they retained many of their Celtic beliefs; one being the Tree of Life. According to lore, there are seven beings of the Celtic world - Plants, Insects, Fish, Reptiles, Birds, Animals, and Man - all branching from the Tree of Life, which represents creation itself. This elegant vase is a limited edition of 4,000 pieces. Each piece is individually numbered and features a special backstamp denoting its year of introduction. 8" high. Fine porcelain from Ireland.
